New...
Create a new stereoscopic image from left/right images or interlaced image or red blue anaglyph image.  See also the New Dialog Box page.

Open...
Open an existing stereoscopic .PNG, .BMP, .JPG or .JPS image file.
Note: When you load a stereoscopic image with no recognized stereoscopic format specifications, the
Import Stereo Image With Unrecognized Format dialog box automatically opens to allow you to specify the stereoscopic format that will be used by the decoder to load the image as a stereoscopic image.  The purpose of this is to let you load/modify/save a stereoscopic image file with an application that does not support stereoscopic image file, and then reload it in Stereo Image Maker as a stereoscopic image ready to be resaved with the sTER chunk.

Close
Close the current active project.  If more than one display window for the same project is opened, all of them will be also closed.  Use the menu [Window --> Close] to close one display window at a time.

Save
Save the current project as a stereoscopic image using its already specified file name.  If no file name has been already specified, the Save Stereoscopic Image As dialog box will open.

Save As
Save Stereo As...
Save the current project under a different file name.
Note: If choose to save the stereoscopic image as a BMP, JPG or JPS image file, the stereoscopic storage format used will be Side by Side + Zero Separation + Right Image First.
Save Left As...
Save the left image of current project.  (Not necessarily as it appears on screen.)
Save Right As...
Save the right image of current project.  (Not necessarily as it appears on screen.)
Save Parallel As...
Save the image of current project as it is displayed by the Parallel Display mode.  (Not necessarily as it appears on screen.)
Save Cross Eyed As...
Save the image of current project as it is displayed by the Cross Eyed Display mode.  (Not necessarily as it appears on screen.)
Save Red Blue Anaglyph As...
Save the image of current project as it is displayed by the Red Blue Anaglyph Display mode.  (Not necessarily as it appears on screen.)
Note: To save a Grayscale Red Blue Anaglyph image instead of a Pseudocolor Red Blue Anaglyph image, select Convert to Grayscale from the Edit menu before doing the save.  You can undo the change just after the save.
Save Interlaced As...
Save the image of current project as it is displayed by the Interlaced Display mode.  (Not necessarily as it appears on screen.)
Note: If the aspect ratio is exactly 2:1 (HzPix : VtPix), then all the horizontal scan lines will be saved and the saved image file aspect ratio will be set to 1:1.

Preferences
Save
Save all the current preferences settings including the position and size of the application window.
Reset to Default
Reset all the preferences to the default values set during the installation.
Note: Do not forget to save the preferences if you want to keep the reset preferences next time you run the application.
Show Splash Screen at Startup
When selected, shows the About Stereo Image Maker Dialog Box each time the application starts.
Note: Do not forget to save the preferences if you want to see a difference next time you run the application.
Image Saving Options...
Open the Image Saving Options Dialog Box.

Exit...
Close all projects and exit application.
