You probably did something wrong with the installation like beeing in user mode instead of administrator mode.
If your only problem is that you do not see the shortcuts in your user Start Menu, then create them manually.
Example: Right click on desktop and select New->Shorcut. Then enter "C:\Program Files\DecoTech\bin\dt_se.exe" for the location and enter "1- Scene Editor" for the name.
